Jan-08-08   smarterthanbobby: does anyone feel that black was hopeless here? I still feel with the bisop and pawn structure ie. black had a chance? anyone have the book on this game was time low? Just wondering because it seems whites pawns are weak... and just 1 point down I wonder why give? Any thoughts welcome I haven't played this out yet
on the board so I don't know as well yet..but will work it out later or if someone has frtitz that would be cool... as well what does anyone think of this opening? it seems to be not used for a while is there a major flaw?
Jan-08-08   smarterthanbobby: move 19 qg4 is a blunder does anyone
see it?

All white had to do instead was
move the bisop instead to g6 putting
the king in CHECK so 19 bg6!check
20 king G8 21 for the win QH7 mate
( kinda cool to see a mate )
This is an offbeat chess opening based on attacking immediately with 1.g4!? ... Henry Grob himself was an International Master, but well-known players like ... he was well known and i think from google the other guy
Louis Betbeder Matibet played on some olmpic thing but don't know the wiki page was in something other than english well enjoy love to hear from other players...

Dec-26-08   mertangili: <smarterthanbobby> there is nothing wrong with 19 Qg4, since 19. Bg6+ would loose queen to 19... Nxh5 (which would have really been a blunder)
