tpstar: I like this Maroczy Bind line = 5. c4 e5 6. Nc2 covering d4 with a potential Ne3/Nd5 later. Interesting that tonight's opponent also sacrificed a Pawn through ... Nd4, yet I suspect he forgot about the Nc2 until too late.

tpstar-ASQWQ (FICS 3/1/06): 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cd 4. Nxd4 Nc6 5. c4 e5 6. Nc2 Nf6 7. Nc3 Be7 8. Be2 0-0 9. 0-0 Nd4?! 10. Nxd4 cxd4 11. Qxd4 Bg4 12. Bxg4 (12. f3 Be6 13. Bf4 & 14. Rad1 might improve, but that is White's Bad Bishop) Nxg4 13. h3 Ne5 14. f4 Ng6!? (14 ... Nc6 15. Qe3) 15. Nd5 Bf6 16. Nxf6+ Qxf6 17. Qxf6 gxf6 18. Rd1 and White won (1-0).
