Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-09-06  OJC: An interesting line is 16. Bxb6 axb6 17.Ne3 and white has a strong attack.

20. ...Bc8 is a blunder (20. ...d5!). 21. Nd5 wins the queen, but the plan with 21. Rab1 is good too.

Jan-09-06  OJC: < 21. Nd5 wins the queen > should read or an equivalent amount of material or more.

The position is hopeless.

Jan-09-06  aw1988: <An interesting line is 16. Bxb6 axb6 17.Ne3 and white has a strong attack.> The e4-pawn hangs.

Even after d5 White enjoys a huge spacial advantage.

If 17. ...Qxe4 then 18. Bd3 Qe8 19. Nd5 and white can win the c7 pawn and still dominate positionally.

< Even after d5 White enjoys a huge spacial advantage. >

Agreed, black is losing but I think 20. ...d5 is the most reasonable option.
