Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-25-07   zb2cr: Wow, this game is a truly impressive commentary on how a "bad Bishop" can poison your whole position. Black breaks out of this dilemma with his black-squared Bishop, but can't solve the problems of his bad white-squared Bishop--and he then blunders in the face of the pressure.

42. ... Bc3 would have kept his rear protected, but limited his potential for ... d4. White would then have played 43. Kd3, Bf6 and be able to strike when, where, and how he wanted.
