Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-23-04  Whitehat1963: Another Trompowsky. Move 67 doesn't make sense for either color. What's going on there?
Dec-23-04  capablancakarpov: <Whitehat1963> A draw!
Dec-23-04  Whitehat1963: Great, thanks, didn't see it. (Obviously.)
May-12-07  Resignation Trap: Here's the position after Black's 73rd move:

Carlsen's 74.Kf3? allows Black's King to penetrate. 74.Kg4 or 74.Kf4 still held the draw.

Position after 75.Rh5+:

Aronian's 75...Ke6? allows White to restore a drawn position (75...Kg6! wins). Now, moving the White King to any square on the fourth rank (on move 76) should hold (if just barely), but after 76.Rh8? it was over, as Black's King makes a steady path to g1.
