Jun-27-04  FerociousBeast: lol I bet Radjabov had a little help from preparation in that home cooked meal.
Jun-27-04  Knezh: Where does that conclusion come from?
Jun-28-04  themindset: 25.Rd2 and white is much better. i seriously doubt that Radjabov intended this position.
Jun-28-04  jeffnool: crafty can you analyze the position after 24...f5 thanks

  crafty: 24...f5 25. Rd2 Rg6 26. Qb3 Bh6 27. Rd3 Rc8 28. Rf3   (eval 1.46; depth 14 ply; 750M nodes)
Jun-28-04  themindset: that's a definite edge to white.
Sep-02-04  jeffnool: after 25.Rd2 maybe black could try 25...Rh7 26.Qb3 Qh6... i think black has compensation in this position....

mathematician: what about 21.d6? I think white wins by cutting the rook off and simply try to launch attack on kingside? if f5 then qh3 and if re8 f4 seems to give white a desicive initiative. does it work?

Cyphelium: <mathematician> How does white continue after 21. d6 Rd8 with simple idea of playing Rxd6 next?
Jun-01-07  IMDONE4: As white, I would seriously consider beating black to the punch and play 21. f4 to break up any possible pawn storm or strong center that black may achieve. The only problem is that this might be tactically unsound by exposing the kingside, although Kh1 along with a possible f5 would plug up many of the remaining holes in white's position.
