  plang: 15..Nd8 had been played in Morozovich-Vallejo Pons Pamplona 1999 (White won); 15..b6 was new. After 20..Rb8 21 a5! White had a clear edge; a better defense was 20..Bb7 21 Bxb7..Qxb7 22 a5..b5 23 Qb4+..Kg8 24 Qxb5..Qe7 25 g3..Kh7 with a small advantage for White. 21..Qc7? would have failed to 22 Qb4+..Kg8 23 Qd6..Qxd6 24 exd. 24..Rxh2? would have failed to 25 Rba1 and there is no defense to 26 Ra8. After 25 c4! Leko was winning (25..dxc 26 Kc3 followed by Rd1).

A very nice positional game by Leko.
