aragorn69: <MS: In Biel, you defeated a future ex-Champion: Topalov.

TN: Right (smiles). Once in Dortmund, after Leko defeated Topalov and advanced to the match against Kramnik, Topalov approached Volodya and I and said: “Hey, why should I be sad? Do I have a chance against the man whose second has a 100 percent score against me?!” (laughs) Of course, that was not Veselin’s best tournament. By the way, Kramnik was the one who prepared me for that game! Volodya told me that he will play the Dutch and I replied: “Okay, show me other openings; against the Dutch I have 2.Bg5!” Typical Armenian style – get rid of the theory and fight!>
