Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-22-05  lopium: Strong play by white. Nice knight sacrifice too.
Aug-15-05  mjk: Nice. Even Kasparov as Black in a simul. couldn't get away without developing and without castling.
Apr-05-09  tdnn72: can anyone post the remaining moves as to why black would lose?
Apr-05-09  shyamsg: <tdnn72> black has 3 choices to save his queen. 1) 29... Qf5 30. Qc4+ Kf6 (30 ... Kd6 31. Nb5#) 31.Rxf7+ and black loses the queen 2) 29... Qc1 30. Qc4+ Kf6/Kf5 31. Qxf7+ Kg5 32. Ne4+ Kh6 33. Rxc1 3) 29... Qa1 30. Qc4+ Kf6/f5 31. Rxf7+ Kg5 32. Ne4+ Kh6 33. dxe5 leaves black a piece down and his king under attack.

I hope I got all of it right

Apr-05-09  fromoort: Usually, the simul-giver takes the White pieces.

bumpmobile: <Apr-05-09 fromoort: Usually, the simul-giver takes the White pieces.>I've also heard of rating maximums. I think a nearly 2300 rating is usually too high as well.
Apr-05-09  tdnn72: thank you very much shyamsg
Jul-05-09  WhiteRook48: stop Wahling, Kasparov!
