Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-07-05   paladin at large: Very nifty endgame win ushered in by von Balla with 28. hxg5.
Sep-07-05   RookFile: I was thinking that 27.... Nd4
might be a good move.
Sep-07-05   paladin at large: 28. hxg5 looks quite good after 27.....Nd4, no? It looks to me at first glance that White can ignore the N on d4 for the moment and proceed to wreck the black kingside.
Aug-31-06   Chess Carnival: Wow. Very instructive endgame. I wonder why this game is not on his notable games. Much more powerful than this one Z von Balla vs A Ritzen, 1914
