Jun-13-06		borisbadenoff: I think 8. Nxd4 exd4 would be the right continuation. But 9. c3 allows black to play d3 which forces white to Qf3-Qxd3 and by that black regains a development move better is maybe 9.d3

There is nothing black can do for this pawn anymore it well get lost. Or you play 9. .. c5 and after 10. cxd4 cxd4 black has a doubled pawn on the d-file and the position doesn't look all that comfortable So 9. c3 d3 10. Qf3 Be6 or Be7 and after 11. Qxd3 again Be6 Be7 depending on what you played.
