bomb the bishop: Three minor pieces for a queen, seem to have more movement and a better compensation in this game

Mateo: I do not agree with these comments. Smejkal had a completely winning game but losed all his advantage after the horrible 27. Re3??, as Andersson wins the exchange after 27... Rxc1 28. Qxc1 Ng4. The rook cannot move: 29. Re1 Nf3+, or even worse, 29. Rd3 Ne2+. But had white played 27. Rc4, for instance, he should have a winning game.

Mateo: I think that 32. Qe2? was the decisive mistake. Black gradually invades white area. Instead of that, the active 32.Qb4 should hold the game. That should be equal. Really, I don't think this is a great game for such grandmasters. Andersson was lucky to win a lost game, and Smejkal made many big mistakes. I guess this was because of zeitnot.
