  tpstar: When White plays c4 & e4, Black should keep the dsb with 3 ... Bc5 instead of the Nimzo-English 3 ... Bb4. See how Black's Queen goes back and forth in this one. Maybe 11. Kf2 might have been safer; 11 ... Qh4+ 12. g3 and White can eventually castle by hand. Black avoided 11 ... Qxg2, possibly due to 12. Rg1 Qxh2 13. Rxg7 or else 12. Qg1 offering a Queen trade. Then White avoided 16. Qxb7 due to 16 ... Rb8 & 17 ... Rxb2+, although here White might grab the free Pawn (17. Qxa7). I don't see what happens on 24. b3 instead.

FHJZ-tpstar (FICS 3/26/06): 1. c4 e5 2. Nc3 Nc6 3. e4 Bb4 (3 ... Bc5) 4. Qc2 d6 5. a3 Bxc3 6. Qxc3 Nf6 7. Bd3!? a5 8. Nf3 0-0 9. 0-0 Bg4 10. Nh4? Nxe4! 11. Bxe4 Qxh4 12. f3 Bd7 13. d3 Nd4 14. Qd2? Nb3 0-1.
