Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-07-06   Autoreparaturwerkbau: I really enjoyed the tricky 18...Nf3+! White of course shouldn't capture with pawn due to seriously weakening Kside. After 64...Bxe5 white ought have resigned.
Apr-07-06   Autoreparaturwerkbau: The only reason of not resigning is because the bishop is "wrong" in case of 74...gxh3?? (draws) or hoping for a blunder 77...Kxh3??. Jacob was no patzer, of course.
Apr-07-06   Jim Bartle: "After 64...Bxe5 white ought have resigned."

Is this really such an easy win, with the g and h pawns? Doesn't black have to be careful not to let white pick up the two pawns for his knight?

Apr-07-06   Autoreparaturwerkbau: <Jim> Play it against machine. I am sure you will win after few undo's (well, we are still patzers and are allowed to do so)! As i mentioned black could blunder with (mentioned) moves 74 and 77, but ... ... just play it through against machine, will ya? ;) I sure you'll find it easy.
Apr-07-06   Autoreparaturwerkbau: For the sake of not only speaking but also doing it by myself i just tried it. I needed only 1 undo. I let him take my g pawn. 2nd time he didn't have that opportunity again ;)
Apr-07-06   Saruman: 19.-Qh4 is quite interesting; it seems as if black can maintain the initiative after 19.-Qh4 20.d5 Qf4 21.g3 Qf5 22.Kg2 Ng5 23.Qg4 QxQ 24.hg Be5 25.f4 BxN 26.BxB Ne4
