Honza Cervenka: 25...Nxe4 could have seemed to be a bit double-edged and risky for black but my quick anaůysis could not find anything completely satisfactory for white. 26.Bxe4 Bxe4 27.fxe5 is tempting but black's defensive resources seem to be sufficient. 26.Rff1 Kg8 27.Rbe1 f5 or 27.Bxe4 Bxe4 28.Rbe1 looks complex but it is probably okay for black.

Larsen's combo starting with 28...Nf5 was incorrect and convincingly refuted by white.

andrzejkrzywda: Was there any reason, why white didn't play 11. Rb1 (to play b4 as one move instead of b3 and b4 as it was in the game)? Was 11. ... Ne5 a threat in this case?
Oct-26-07  vonKrolock: <26.♖e2> Now, instead of f7-f6, black could try at once 26...♘f5!? - and in the line 27.♘c2 b5! 28.cxb5 axb5, arrive to a more promising position than in the actual game
