Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-11-05   WorldChampeen: 37. Nc7 I guess the more astute, Master and expert say is better, I definitely would move 37. Nf5. 37. Nf5 would appear to be more passive but does keep the Rook out of the vulnerable f4 square.

Stripunsky won the Best Swindle award for this game.

tpstar: 7 ... Bxc3+ scores well for Black Opening Explorer as the Two Bishops are hindered by the doubled c Pawns. Good job by Black advancing the Kingside Pawns to gain the draw, but there must be real improvements for White here. 37. Nf5 looks good, and I wonder about 48. e5 since the Bd5 is so well posted. Maybe 48. Nd2 g3 49. Kf1 holds the Pawns better.
