Kibitzer's Corner
May-15-05  paladin at large: Fine positional consideration by Riumin. White's 29. Nd3 is not good, as it allows Black to liquidate on d3, leaving one of white's rooks there in a passive position. Black thereafter has a decisive initiative. 32. Rf1 does not help white, leading to an exchange of his active rook, but he is short of good moves at this point.

Oct-16-05  SneechLatke: <paladin> I would agree that white's 29.♘d3?! basically loses, but I think that black also deserves credit for finding 28...♖f8! which leaves white totally tied up. 37.ab5 seems to be better than the text, although both moves probably lead to a loss for white anyway.
