Mar-23-05  Autoreparaturwerkbau: One of few new-age draws that really are DRAWS. Draw meaning the situation noone could make the win out of it no matter how he tried.
Mar-23-05  Kingdumb: It appears from white's play that he was going for a draw from the start. Very conservative. Maybe that's one of the few ways to play strong computers even.
Mar-23-05  Autoreparaturwerkbau: <Kingdumb> I agree. Furthermore, i noticed that white never crossed 4th rank (in 26 moves!), which explains your mark "conservative".
Mar-23-05  Autoreparaturwerkbau: Hehehe another funny thing to add is that white's first move (1.e4) pawn was the closest white piece for the black's king in the entire 26-move game :) How conservative is that :)

OhioChessFan: I am surprised this worked in 04. Perhaps Mickey would have been well served to consider such an approach as White in his encounter with Hyrda.
Oct-13-06  Loisp: or kramnik can consider this in his match with Deep Fritz
Nov-15-06  ongyj: A good approach to make higher rated opponents lose rating poings! LOL
Feb-03-07  IMDONE4: Deep Fritz is rated 2384?
