Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-15-05  shortsight: Looks so easy, maybe one needs to swap Queens to beat Sicilian with White.
Feb-16-05  russep: Having queens on the board makes the game more fun.
Feb-18-05  siggemannen: this is an excellent game from strategic point of white i think. White sets up the bind with c4-e4 on the d6-pawn, which often in sicilians is ok, but if you remove the queens the weaknesses become more apparent. Black played REALLY weak though, he tried a hedgehog but a really bad one. 21...a5 is big mistake allowing white to set the weakness firm on b6, really awful game by black, being 2570 and all...
Feb-18-05  TheSlid: <Black played REALLY weak though>. When I played this game through I thought Black's 17 through 23rd moves were strange - couldn't see the point at all.
Feb-18-05  siggemannen: yes, if you ARE setting up a hedgehog whatever type of position you should be patient, and black wasn't, maybe he blitzed off the moves to watch some real GM-games to learn something, noone will ever know
