Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-03-05  cade: Not a good idea to castle straight into a full on white attack. Well, unless you are Kasparov. 12...0-0-0 is a pretty bad move.
Apr-07-05  EmperorAtahualpa: 8...Nh5 is already a bad move. Black's knight is completely useless there, as you will see it serves no purposes whatsoever throughout the rest of the game. So, effectively, Black is already a piece down ever since the 8th move. Hence there is no trouble sacrificing White's knight on the 20th move.

Black did not want to castle the other way because of White's strong b1-h7 diagonal. Perhaps putting the knight back on f6 would have helped but it loses tempo and cramps up Black's play.

patzer2: With no defense for Black, 20. Bxa6!! constitutes a winning attack on the weakened castled position.
