  KingG: Are there really no improvements for either side in this line? Kasparov played more or less the exact same game twice in 2004, and now these two players go through it again.

This line has become more like a theory test than a serious winning attempt. But from Black's point of view, if he is in a must win situation, does this make the Poisoned Pawn a bad choice? Maybe Black would need to play one of 7...Qc7, 7...Be7, 7...Nbd7 instead.

  AdrianP: <KingG> This line does seem to be pretty bulletproof for Black. If Black wants to make a game of it, he can play 15 ...Be7, as well. See e.g. Radjabov vs Jiangchuan, 2004
