Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-07-06  Autoreparaturwerkbau: NN's glorious victory! By the way, why didn't black play 14...Qxf3?
Jan-11-06  prinsallan: NNs most obvious errors in this game.
4 Nh3 (why develop the Knight to the rim?)
16 Qb3 (tempoloss: castling for Black is obvious)
31 Bxb3 (better is Rdxb3 threatening penetration)
Apart from that, pretty well played.
Black plays poorly in the endgame with a king that is totally inactive though.
Mar-08-06  64 Squares: Black also should of know that the endgame was going to be a disadvantage, due to the outside a3 pawn.

GrahamClayton: The earliest correspondence chess game score to have survived. von Mauvillon was Friedrich Wilhelm von Mauvillon, a lieutenant-colonel in the Dutch army in The Hague. His opponent was an unknown fellow army officer in Breda.
Dec-31-08  WhiteRook48: a very good sacrifice for NN. He finally gets some wins. Well, he deserves them!!!

2...Qf6? is so bad I don't see why not 2...exd4
Sep-10-09  Kasparkov: why not...

14.... Qxf3
