Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-28-06  aragorn69: As Jeremy Spinrad correctly states (at chesscafe.com), Black misses 6.-Qxc7! which gives him the better game... It has to be said that both players were playing blindfold... and that Laigle was a patzer!
Mar-28-06  Autoreparaturwerkbau: You are joking, right? What's so good about the proposed move?

pawn to QB4: Well, I'd play it: 6...Qxc7 7.Bxc7 Bb4+ and stays level on material instead of going a rook down.
Mar-28-06  Autoreparaturwerkbau: Gee! Apologies to <Aragorn>! Im blindfolded too as i have not seen 7.Bb4+! Thanks for the comment, <pawn>.
Jun-14-07  sneaky pete: A bad case of amaurosis scaccistica, both players also overlook 11... Bb4+.
Jun-14-07  kellmano: Highly amusing episode in fact. 11...Bb4+ is the best move on the board, 12...Bb4+ is one of the worst. I reckon this Laigle character probably attempted to play a few illegal moves.
Feb-08-13  RPdigital: After 8.e3 continue Ne4 9.Bd3 Bb4+ 10.Ke2 ...
