patzer2: Nakamura's unorthodox style coaxes his opponent into an over extended center, and after a couple of minor positional mistakes Black gains an overwheliming advantage. White's key mistakes appear to be 14. f4?!, 25. Nc3?! and 26. d5?!. Instead, 14. cxd6!, 25. Neg5! and 26. Ne4! give white defensive counter chances:

14. cxd6! cxd6 15. Nxe6 Bxe6 16. Qxe6 Nbc6 17. Bg5 h6 18. Bxe7 Qxe7 19. Qxe7 Nxe7 20. Rad1 fxe4 21. Nxe4 .

25. Neg5! Bc6 26. Bb5 Bd5 27. Qc3 Qxc3 28. bxc3=.

26. Ne4! Bd5 27. Qd3 Qb6 28. Kh1 Rc8 29. Qb5 Qxb5 30. Bxb5 h6 31. Kg2 a6 32. Ba4 Kg8 33. Bb3 Bxb3 34. axb3 Rc6 35. Nc3 d5 36. b4 Rb6 37. g4 Ne7 38. Kg3 Rc8 39. b5 axb5 40. Rde2 Kf7 41. Na2 Rbc6 42. Nb4 Rc4 43. Rxe6 R8c7=.

The deflection capture 26...exd5! appears to give Black a decisive advantage. An instructive deflection and defensive move is 31...h6!, foiling White's attempt at a cheap mate and deflecting the Knight to leave White's pieces completely disorganized and helpless against the Black attack.
