Kibitzer's Corner
May-14-05  catfriend: So was the fiery exchange correct for black? Couldn't Judit have more in this game?
May-14-05  percyblakeney: Polgar could have tried 28. g4 hxg3 e.p. 29. Nxg3 Rxh3 30. Kg2 but I suppose that too would draw.
May-14-05  percyblakeney: On the other hand, Topalov missed 23. ... Nxe5, which would have been very good for black.

Ron: <percyblakeney> 23. ... Nxe5 does seem to be a better move than the text. Blacks wins at least a pawn; if White then plays, 4. fxe5, then more loss of material for White because Black can then play 24. ... Rxe5
