Sneaky: Is this a wrong score, or an example of the biggest blunder? White resigns, but he has checkmate in hand with 24.Bxd6+
May-24-05   aw1988: Most likely a time win if you look at the final position!

chessgames.com: We know, we were just curious if 23...Ka7 would actually be a winning move in this wild position. Apparently not.
May-25-05   hintza: Oh, I thought <crafty> was going off on one again!

nasmichael: Time management is important, after all....a good fight on both sides until the last moment.
May-26-05   Bobak Zahmat: It is really a shame that white has lost this game, just look at the position.
May-26-05   PARACONT1: it was a bigger shame that Morozevich lost to Ippolito once too, but at least then Ippo managed to win a long endgame, and through his own ability!
Jun-04-05   millert: It seems likely that 23. ... Ka7 was played when White cannot avoid being mated. the additional two moves may be a computer glitch based on postgame analysis. Just a theory.
Jun-04-05   halcyonteam: 23. cxd8=N+ Kb8 24. Bxd6+ Ka7 25. Rc7+
Ka8 26. Qc6+ Kb8 27. Qb7#
White mates 1-0
