Ba4 was the better way to go, grabbing that a4-e8 cut-off diagonal... 64...Ka5 then simply 65 Bd7 foll by 66. Ne6 - and the lone King is unable to escape the corner of doom... Mate within 10 moves if you practise this for a while in order to have a remedy against every attempt of escape, and to drive the King to a8. PRACTISE!!

I have seen a couple of strong players fumble here, and overstepping the 50 move limit. Great fun, and after having seen that, today I'd play on.
At the least one could get a refresher on how it was done. :-) |
