Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-14-05   zorro: Hhmmm.. funny scoresheet. Nakamura is not 2752 in the first place and I dont see why Black resigned...
Jun-14-05   Shams: USCF rating, not FIDE.

white gains the seventh rank, and to defend the h-pawn black can't interpose a rook at b7 nor at g8 (due to Bd5). After ...h5 the g-pawn falls. white has a simple win without the b-pawn.

Aug-23-09   tentsewang: Well i think the black resigned because he made a mistake on 24. ...g6 which weakened the 7th rank for the rook to get on a7.
Aug-24-09   Jason Frost: True, but white was completely won anyway 24...h6 25. Rc2 followed by 26. Bd5 27. Bc4 and 28. b3 after which white activates both rooks and is just up two pawns
