Jun-26-05  harrwitz: Why can't White just eat the h5 pawn with something like Ng3 and then Re1 to safeguard the e4 pawn? We can eat the Queenside isolated guy later.
Jun-26-05  Nobis: yes, actually the URSS wasn't real Communism, that was a dictature
Jun-26-05  WMD: In Curacao 1962, Keres, Petrosian and Geller were all equal.
Jun-26-05  jonasc: 28.e5 perhaps?
Jun-26-05  liquio: 4. ± (1.09): 27...c5 28.b4 Nd8 29.bxc5 dxc5

Nd8 not cxb4 is a very computer move

Jun-26-05  CAPA2422: USSR.

You going to adress what I said, or are you done?

Ulhumbrus: I do not think it other than a draw, the question of interest is how Adams will defend White's threats
Jun-26-05  jonasc: <CAPA2422: USSR.

Who are you talking to?

OhioChessFan: <JamesMaskellI say that if hydra can use 32 procesors, we can have 32 humans! Seriously thats a good point. Which 4 would you have (restricted to active GMs).>

Just got here. I'd pick Topalov, Anand, Leko and Polgar for tactical fireworks.

Jun-26-05  WMD: OK, the Soviet Union and every other tyrannical leftist regime wasn't real communism (rather it was state captialism) but why do you think there has ever been real capitalism either?

jamesmaskell: Lets not make this political discussion anymore difficult than it is. Communism isnt pleasant but you dont learn that until you read the Communist Manifesto.
Jun-26-05  Karpova: Adams plays Hydra and they are discussing communism just because WMD came up with that...

<Acirce> what happened to your nice picture of kramnik?

Jun-26-05  Seraphina: In capitalism, man exploits man, in communism it's the other way round.
Jun-26-05  GreatGrecosGhost: White has a clear space advantage so it looks like black is trying to exchange queens. However after the trade, white will still have less space, a worse pawn structure, and a less active pieces. I think Adams is gonna drop another one today.
Jun-26-05  CAPA2422: That was for Nobis, the CommY.

lol

  WannaBe: some reason S9 recommendes Qg4 29. Qxg4 hxg4 30 Ne3 1.29 the guys on chess.fm are saying the Qg4 is play-able.
Jun-26-05  hintza: <what happened to your nice picture of kramnik?> Don't take his new one at face value.

acirce: Even a computer would reach higher level than this in its political discussions. How is Hydra doing?
Jun-26-05  harrwitz: I raised this point before and I will raise it again, issues about Communism aside. What does Black do about the simple Ng3 hitting the h-pawn (after maybe a preparatory Re1 to protect the e4 pawn)?
Jun-26-05  rover: It's interesting to see Hydra fighting for a win with N on f5 again. Computers may not be very good in comming up long-term plans on their own but they are very good at implementing pre-programmed ones (like piece activity in this case).

WannaBe: <Seraphina: In capitalism, man exploits man, in communism it's the other way round.> ???
Jun-26-05  WMD: Adams may try ...Qg4 to offer the Queen swap which I was just looking at today in the famous game, Smyslov-Reshevsky 1948.
Jun-26-05  jonasc: <CAPA2422: That was for Nobis, the CommY.

lol>

oh ok i thought where talking to yourself :)

Jun-26-05  notsodeepthought: <Karpova:... <Acirce> what happened to your nice picture of kramnik?> I think Acirce's new icon IS a picture of Kramnik - he just doesn't want to show his face after his recent showings.
