Jul-08-09  Hugh the Drover: White with his bishop has a Luftwaffe, and an imperfect, center-heavy Alekhine's Gun. Watch Nick Ban go Gruzin' for a back-rank mate.
May-29-10  whiteshark: <Hugh the Drover> Let me put it like this: You might say that.

Honza Cervenka: 17.Kg2, 18.Rg1 and 21.Kh1 was quite cool and deadly effective manoeuvre combining defence and attack at once. I would say it was very Petrosianic moment, though Iron Tigran was on the other side of board. 26.Rge1!! was winning faster, and it could have been more elegant finish of this interesting game.
