This was Round 1, so the TD adjudicated our endgame as a draw to keep the tournament moving along. Otherwise we would have played it out.

  Phony Benoni: I remember this tournament. The unusual part was that Palmer and Finegold ended up tieing for first. We're used to seeing the two leaders draw in the final round of a tournament. But in round 1?
