tamar: Qd8+ only move to draw
Sep-29-05  fgh: Baaaaaaaaaah. I will someday go through all the kibitzing here and die of laughing.
Sep-29-05  Koster: Clear draw now, barring further mistakes

kevin86: <Jeremy24> no your move only drew. After the exchange of queens, black brings his king to g8 and draws
Sep-29-05  Fianchettofemme: And the oscar for the most errors in a WC game goes to .....

Sneaky: <on playchess they say Qd8 only move that draws> In that case, Vishy will simply play Qd8+. You don't think he actually makes mistakes do you?! :-)
Sep-29-05  centercounter: Dvoretsky has vomited already...
Sep-29-05  Helloween: This is the worst chess game ever.
Sep-29-05  artemis: <fionchettofemme> The Kibitzers!!
Sep-29-05  Fezzik: There have been several WC games that have gone over 100 moves. And before you go around canvassing Kasparov for God, remember all those terrible moves he made. He even had a K+Q vs K in which he stalemated his opponent! These guys we're watching today are **good**!
Sep-29-05  TIMER: <fezzik> That would be very rare 175 moves. What if one side has just a few moves earlier promoted last pawn to queen, a draw at move 167 just because he can not mate by 175?

Hesam7: 92 ... Qd8+ draws Anand has enough time left on clock so I guess he will see that.

kingscrusher: NakoSonorense: I think quality games are in ICCF, but then they can use engines and have access to databases for official correspondence chess. But if games keep ending in draws in correspondence, then thats probably the end of engine-based correspondence chess by draw-death.

I think with the new Fide rule of not being able to write your move down first before playing it, games will be even more exciting to watch like this. Well done Fide, on lowering the quality and increasing the fun of OTB games :)

As I was saying before, this reminds me of a typical club players game - great fun to watch, and full of ups and downs and suspense.

Sep-29-05  Phoenix: Wow, I leave for 4 hours for a piano lesson, and come back to find Anand Topalov still playing!
Sep-29-05  kova100: Leko-Moro: draw? is it sure?
Sep-29-05  tpstardefender: <Hesam7> You said fruit gave Topa +9.45. are you fooling us?
Sep-29-05  alexandrovm: This was a GREAT game. much better than a 20 move GM draw. Very interesting moves and ideas from both Topa and Anand.
Sep-29-05  Seeker123: Anand supporters must admit that he is losing.
Sep-29-05  controlaltdelete: its a draw .5-.5 goodnight y'all! topa is gonna be sick about this game, im going to be sick ...
Sep-29-05  gadfly: <Helloween> Will you please stop uttering nonsense!!!
Sep-29-05  Koster: three time rep any second now
Sep-29-05  arifattar: this is a win for white, isn't it?
Sep-29-05  centercounter: Looks like finally, a perpetual...
