OhioChessFan: How about c6 and the King walks over to the other side? What can White do?
Oct-04-05  pawn52: hey guys...school library is about to shut up on me so ill have to bail...some1 email me and lmk how the game ends...u can find my email address in my profile...ill see you guys later.
Oct-04-05  offramp: I have a feeling tha this might be much harder to win than it looks. Both players may be getting tired as well.

Oct-04-05  arielbekarov: <YouRang> You are right there is absolutely no reason for Judit Polgar to resign. She is still in difficulties but has improved her position. I think that she at least can get a draw. The problem is how she will get some kind of active play, if I am expressing myself understandable.

I believe in Judit!

Oct-04-05  lunacyfrog: I think topa missed an opportunity. 44...rh1. If 45 Kg2 then Topa can still fall back to h4 with a move gained essentially. On the other hand, if 45 Nd2? 45...Rd1! followed by 46...Nxb3!
Oct-04-05  12929011: Black is losing his advantage after Kc8, Fritz's evaluation dropped from -2.30 to -1.90, which is still good, I suppose.
Oct-04-05  hierbabuena: < controlaltdelete: Topalov wins after 43....Nxf3 44Rxf4 Nxe5 45 Rff3 g4! .. but again if schredder 8 evaluates Rxe4 as stronger than black did the right thing > yeah, except judith could safely resign after Nxf3. I dont see a direct resignation here. Do you?

Sneaky: chaital2005, imagine all the English that they have to surf through!
Oct-04-05  shinketsu: ..or perhaps the king walks to the k-side and assists in advancing the g pawn. White is totally passive here
Oct-04-05  vmur2000: Chessgames.com this bulgarian is confusing.Cant u do something abt this. After all this is an english site
Oct-04-05  Edlund40: <chaital2005> Bulgarian should be announced the official language of chess!!

OhioChessFan: I'm surprised by Kc8 already. c5 and then Ne2-f4 shuts down everything White can do. Plenty of time for the King walk.

  Gypsy: < Chicgirl: I will repeat the variaton again 43....Nxf3 44Rxf4 Nxe5! 45 Rff3 g4! black will be at least 2 pawns up > 46.Rg3 Nxd3 47.Rxd3. Where are the two pawns?
Oct-04-05  John Doe: Ne2 must be played before the king ventures across the d file.

I think the king repositioning is to cut the white rook's scope, preparing for the dangerous uncovering of that file

Oct-04-05  ChessMan94: The Black king is going to join the party. I guess it will support the g pawn and all the slaughter that will take place on the king side.
Oct-04-05  chessic eric: ok, my suggestion of ...Ne2+ was worthless. Obviously Topa needs it there to cross the d-file, and ...Nf4 was gonna invite Rd7 again. Sometimes i think i should quit this game...
Oct-04-05  Dres1: For all those complaining about black's king not doing anything... Here he comes!!!
Oct-04-05  topa: Kvo se prepirat oshye-partiata se doigrava.Pitaite Ermenkata
Oct-04-05  cannibal: <chicgirl>
In your 45. ...g4-Variation, doesnt 46. Rf6 Nxd3 47. Kxg4 reduce it to a one-pawn-advantage for black (as e6 is likely to fall). Don't have it on the board right now, so I might be talking crap.
Oct-04-05  Monoceros: Just my thought. The King walk begins...
