Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-26-08   mmmsplay10: Beautiful tactic by Ron Burnett, against famous player Eric Shiller. Wonderful game
Jul-26-08   Alphastar: I'm quite sure the maneouvre 21. ..Nd7 and 22. ..Nf8 is meant to be followed up with Ne6 and Nd4, but the very next move - 23. ..Bxd5 - cuts across this plan. Was it really necessary to play this immediately?

I wonder what Eric Schiller himself has to say about this.

Eric Schiller: I saw no future for the bishop. I doubt the capture was necessary.
