  notyetagm: 24 Rf4! Qh5 (24 ... Nxf4 25 Qh8#) 25 Bf3 traps the Black queen on the h-file since she has <NO RETREAT>.

I was amazed to see that Black allowed her important dark-squared bishop to be traded off for a knight with 17 ... Bf5?! 18 NxB+ RxN. <Without it, her kingside was riddled with dark-squared mating focal points, mainly the g7- and h8- squares, which were difficult to defend.> In fact, the final queen-trapping combination is possible only because the Black g6-knight is overworked having to defend the <dark-squared h8-mating focal point> while at the same time trying to defend the Black queen by keeping a White rook out of f4.
