  An Englishman: Good Evening: Years before Benko took up his gambit, Enevoldsen was steamrolling it with 4.Qc2, a very successful reply to the opening.

  fredthebear: If the Black king recaptures the checking bishop, he's headed for Philidor's Legacy. There will be six straight check moves, finishing w/a queen sacrifice on g8 (the Black rook is forced to capture) and a smothered mate by the White knight on h6 to f7.
