Marmot PFL: I wonder how many games Lasker played in this simul, as already he was 65 years old. Prokofiev was not a bad player but Lasker gives him no tactical chances and squashes him in the typical good N - bad B ending. The exchange sac, which soon leads to zugzwang, isn't found by Fritz 6 (it does find a slower win, beginning with 49.f4). I should update to newer version someday soon.

Calli: <Marmot PFL> Lasker played 30 boards that day (March 18) at the famous Café de la Régence. The altmeister scored +22 -5 =3.
Feb-19-07  micartouse: Wow, the great composer had a pretty solid chess game too. But when a player with Lasker's power sets his sights on you, you're in for a serious fight.
