Jan-16-07   MyriadChoices: White pieces should control dark squares. This means keeping the dark square bishop on as long as possible. Try to build kingside pawns on dark squares and Q-side on light. Don't be afriad to extend the Kingside pawns even after 0-0. Your knight/s will come into play to compliment the D-squared bishops positioning to pick off pawns. Mostly, don't be afraid of 'ugly' moves. A01 leads to very different waters than D4 or E4 so it's alright when you seem to be making strange, thoygh correct, moves. It's a positional game but it'll soon explode with tactics.
