fm avari viraf: Dragan's Dragon was beautifully slain by Hodgson's imaginative attack. The creative & astonishing move 18.Rh8+ simply ruins Black's fortress. Now, if Black plays 18...Bxh8 then 19.Qxg6+ Bg7 [ not 19...Kf8 then 20.Qxf7# ] 20.Qxf7+ Kh8 21.Rh1+ Nh7 22.Qg6 with mate to follow.
Feb-08-09   Jim Bartle: I read a game score where the game ended after white's 19th. Which makes more sense.

  ToTheDeath: 15...a3! 16.hxg6 axb2+ 17.Kxb2 hxg6 18.Qg5 Kf8 may be defensible. The game line just loses brilliantly.
