notyetagm: Topalov back in a tie for first after Anand's shocking loss to Kamsky.

Anand being very consistent. He looked great at San Luis until his shocking loss to Kasimdzhanov and now he was just humming along until his shocking loss to Kamsky.

Jan-20-06  THE CHESS KING: what's the elo rating of sokolov any one knows?

suenteus po 147: I wonder if Sokolov can hold Topalov to a draw? I say "hold" because, as we all know, Topalov never gets tired and never agrees to draws ;)
Jan-20-06  feripe: I think this one will be 1-0. This time Topalov won´t be hold to a draw.

We should bet when Mamedyarov will do anything different than 1/2 point.

Jan-20-06  underrated: any guess on the opening...i hope for something other than e4 or d4.
Jan-20-06  Ludamad: how about f3? :D

Dionyseus: Sicilian. 37 moves. Topalov wins.
Jan-20-06  sciacca khan: Either:
1) Dunst Opening, Czech Variation, minor pseudo-wing attack, deferred, closed...or 2) Ruy Lopez, open defense, a very hard-fought game, drawn after in 40 moves. You decide.
Jan-20-06  Ludamad: Reti transposing into a sicilian najdorf
Jan-20-06  Ludamad: <EnglishOpeningc4: I predict a respectable opening, like the Grob for example ;)> Or the barnes opening ;)
