Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-30-08  jerseybob: I don't like 34..e5, after which the knight turns into a monster. Maybe Reshevsky's tournament standing prompted the move. Of course white is on top in any case, and in inferior positions Reshevsky was never a stand pat guy. But it seems to me that after 34..Be8, white is more hard-pressed to demonstrate a win, although I emphasize again that white does have an edge.

Probably not as this was only round 9 out of 15. Tukmakov won the tourney and the almost 67 year old Reshevsky finished a very respectable 7.5/15. He picked up a couple of rating points here...heh.
