Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-18-12  Everett: 16.Rfc1!? <..axb5 17.Rc8+ Ke7 18.Bb4+>
Jun-18-12  Everett: As White I would be looking forward to the B vs N endgame, seeing that Black needs to get his k-side pawns off the light-squares and I'll be a past-pawn up at least.
Jun-18-12  Cushion: Shouldn't this endgame be a win?

  Sastre: It's not an easy win for White after 45...Nc2 46.Bxc4+ Kf6 47.Kf3 (47.Bg8 Nxd4 48.Bxh7 Kg7; 47.d5 Ne3+) Nxd4+ 48.Kf4 Nc6.
Jun-18-12  Everett: Well, Black's best seems to be <45..Nc2 46.Kf2 Nxd4 Bxc4+> and White should win with the passed pawn.

Shams: <Everett> 46...Na3 in that line and White could lose, no?
Jun-19-12  Everett: <Shams: <Everett> 46...Na3 in that line and White could lose, no?>

Pardon me while I wipe the egg off my face. Indeed, it seems White should simply play 46.Bxc4+. For some reason I did not see this move as check, and thought Black had a fork with Ne3+.
