A beauty from Nenarokov, demonstrating how to open lines around the opposing king. He started with <26...Bc4>, the first point being 27.bxc4 Rxb2+ 28.Kxb2 Rb8+ and White can avoid mate only by giving up material with 29.Kc2 Qa2+ 30.Kd3 Rb3+ 31.Qc3 Rxc3+ 32.Kxc3 Qxg2.

So White tried to bring a piece over to the defense, and the game continued <27.Nd2 Bd3+ 28.Kc3> (not 28.Kc1 Qa1+ 29.Nb1 Qxb1+ 30.Kd2 Qxb2+ 31.Kxd3 Qxg2, and the loose rook drops off again.)

Now 28...Rb4 has its points; the idea is 29...Rd4 and 29.Kxb4 allows mate in two. However, <28...c6>, prying open another line or two, proved even more vicious.

Now after 29.dxc6 Rfd8, White's king will not be able to survive the crossfire. So White brought up another piece to the defense with <30.Qe3>, to which Black calmly replied <29...cxd5>.

White found little consolation after <30.Qxd3 Rfc8+ 31.Nc4 Rxb3+>. Now 32.Kxb3 dxc4+ wins the house, so White resigned.
