Without tactical ability, all the positional feel in the world won't get you very far.) His style was a play-it-safe, careful one (limiting the opponent's options), but when tactical opportunities arose, he jumped right in. |

I don't think this works, after Qxd4, I think black can play Nf3 ch nabbing the queen. al wazir: If 28...Qc5, does white have anything better than 29. Rxc5 Nxc5 30. h8=Q+ Rxh8 31. Bxh8 ? Not sure, how about 29 g5 ch? If N x g5, R x Q may be better here. |
