Kibitzer's Corner
May-03-13  darshandatta: Does white has mating attack after 18... Kf6
May-03-13  PaulLovric: second
May-03-13  PaulLovric: <darshandatta: Does white has mating attack after 18... Kf6> sooner than the text move...very weird question, and a very bad move choice

FSR: Classic pun. Wish I'd thought of it.

To answer your question, unlike the non-answer provided above, after 18....Kf6 White plays 19.Qd6+ Kf5 20.f3 h5 21.g3, with either 22.e4 or 21....e4 22.fxe4+ Kg4 23.h3 finishing the job.

May-03-13  darshandatta: Thank you <perfidious>
May-03-13  PaulLovric: <perfidious> ouch, wounded again, but what's the big deal champ, why pick on me? you yourself say it's over in 22 instead of 29
May-03-13  newzild: <PaulLovric> Anyone who jumps around kibitzer's corners yelling "FIRST!" and "second" while critcising people's queries about moves without even attempting to provide any analysis should expect a bit of needle.
May-03-13  PaulLovric: i think life's to short to be too serious, that's my view
May-03-13  PaulLovric: and i was not being critical either, just my view
May-03-13  Tired Tim: Pun? Not another USA situation comedy, surely?!

offramp: You could make an aphorism out of that:
Life's too short for being serious about chess.
May-03-13  TheTamale: <FSR>: I got a kick out of the pun too and would've bet the house that it came from you.
May-03-13  kevin86: Black's king gets chased to the "west coast"
May-03-13  Gilmoy: <14.Qa3 18.Ng5+> lets Milov open Philidor!
May-03-13  thegoodanarchist: <Tired Tim: Pun? Not another USA situation comedy, surely?>

Let My Love Open the Door.

Think it was a Who song, not sure.

It was-crappy one at that. Not as bad as Squeeze Box, tho.

OhioChessFan: It was a Townshend solo song.

Squeeze Box was just meant as a bawdy little ditty, I'm guessing, and resonated with the free love spirit of the times
