Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-08-12  YoungEd: I wonder if 28. b3 would improve on the game continuation, the idea being perhaps to exchange rooks, win Black's h-pawn, and cost black some tempi in regaining the pawn on the queen-side. The game is interesting at the end, in that White simply can't come up with a plan to stop Black's pawn advances.

  Sastre: 28.b3 doesn't look too good for White because of 28...Ne3+ 29.Kg1 (29.Kf2 Nd1+ 30.Ke1 Rxe2+ 31.Kxe2 Nxc3+ 32.Kd2 Nxa2) Nd1 30.Rxe7+ Kxe7 31.c4 Nc3 32.Kf2 h6 33.Nf3 Nxa2 .
Jun-08-12  Kinan: Saladin? Leonhardt?
Jun-09-12  YoungEd: Thanks, Sastre. If you're right--and it looks like you are--then White's error must have come earlier in the game.
