  notyetagm: The winning move 30 Qb7! is really nasty, too. The obvious threat is 31 Qxf7#, the White b7-queen coordinating with the White h7-rook.

<But with heavy piece penetration down the h-file also threatened by the White h1- and h7-rooks, the e7-flight square is critical.> Not only does 30 Qb7! threaten mate on f7, it also covers this e7-flight square, so now White also threatens the mate in two 31 Rh8+ Kg7 32 R1h7#.

Black has no adequate defense to these two different mating threats.
