Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-19-06  EmperorAtahualpa: I believe White's troubles start as soon as Black's knights break through around move 30.

30...Nxd4! looks like the move that turned around the game. If 31.Nxd4 Qxd4 32.gxf4?, then 32...Qd1+ 33.Kh2 Qg4! winning the bishop on g7 (if the bishop moves, mate follows on g2).

33...Nh5 is another great move that wins the bishop. If 34.Bf6? then 34...Nxf6 35.exf6 (35.Qxf6? Rh8! 36.Kg2 Qh1#) Rh8! pinning the queen.

Good play by Humpy!

Apr-19-06  Veryrusty: The whole excursion with 26. Qh7 and 27. Bg7 appears misguided; I think she thought she could turn the f7 pawn but 27. ... Re8 blunts that and leaves Bishop and Queen out of play and static targets.
