 | | PhilFeeley: It always amazes me how an opening can be played a thousand times a year and still there are masters who manage to lose with it. Why didn' t she move the rook? |
| May-22-06 | | alicefujimori: I particularly liked how Kosteniuk played for dark-squared control with 16.Nc3, 18.Ba3 and 19.Bc5. |
| May-22-06 | | Raskolnikov: <PhilFeeley> Do you mean something like 23... e8? Then 24. g3 with threats 25. :b8 and 25. :g7. |
| May-22-06 | | EmperorAtahualpa: The game looks fairly balanced to me until Black took that poisoned pawn with 22...Rxe5??. |
| May-22-06 | | Marcelo Adaes: If Black dont play 22...Rxe5, there are plenty of good next moves: 23.Bd6, or 23.e6, or 23.f6, or... you name it. The end was near, but black precipitated it. Oh, how can I put the symbol of a picie (as Raskolnikov did) instead of the letter??? :) Raskolnikov! I only recognized the name after typing it! Very good nick, the book dont say, but the character should play chess, for sure! ;) |
| May-24-06 | | Raskolnikov: <Marcelo Adaes> Thank you! You can put a symbol of a piece using { and } brackets. For example typing { letter for a piece } makes .
"R" for rook, "N" for knight and so on... |
| May-24-06 | | Marcelo Adaes: Thanks a lot, Raskolnikov! Testing... , , , , ... cool! |
| Jan-02-07 | | jperr75108: I think 13... Ne7 is more accurate. |
