Kola: 12. I think Qd4 is better here.

Resignation Trap: The whole line 6.Bxf7+ Kxf7 7.Ng5+ Kg8 8.Ne6 Qe8 9.Nxc7 Qg6 seems to have originated in the game between Newell W Banks and Abraham Kupchik , New York 1916. The checker champion tried 10.0-0 Rb8 11.f4 exd4 12.N3d5 Nxd5 13.f5, but after 13...Qf7 Black was a safe piece ahead.

For a further discussion of the "show me" line 10.Nxa8 Qxg2 11.Rf1 exd4 12.Qxd4 see the game A Kobernat vs E Schiller, 1998 . Black has a huge plus score in these lines.
